Genesis was founded in 2019, but its roots run much deeper. Founder Dylan Hartigan grew up in a big Irish family in Boston, where summer weekends meant cookouts and time with loved ones around the patio and pool at his great uncle’s house. Those gatherings left a lasting impression, showing him how outdoor spaces can bring people together and create lifelong memories.
That inspiration became Genesis—a company built on faith, family values, and quality craftsmanship. Dylan spent his college summers in landscaping and hardscaping, later earning certifications to turn his passion into a profession.
A year after launching Genesis, Dylan’s best friend Jack joined the team. Friends since age 13, their bond and shared values naturally carried into their work. With Jack’s leadership and eye for detail, the two bring unity, precision, and heart to every project.
